::I've visited the Cake Bar, several times and will continue to return. One Saturday, the owner even chatted with me and my family. The cakes are delicious, atmosphere is inviting, and did I say the cakes are delicious? The only issue I have is choosing which cake to pick! The Chocolate and Key Lime cakes, are my absolute favorites. You'll definitely enjoy this place, like I do.

::Cake Bar is located on the opposite side of the restaurant fronts that face Singleton Blvd. I went here to sample a piece of cake and ultimately left with the Neapolitan one. It was okay but was kinda dry as the other reviews suggest. I always like to go and sample stuff for myself but it was a correct assessment. It hits the spot if you're just looking to cure a sweet tooth...

::Cake Bar is like heaven in Dallas. We live 20 miles away but still make our way downtown to grab ourselves a few slices. We haven’t tried all the different varieties and flavors yet, but the ones we have tried have all been amazing. The best ones so far…in my opinion, are the coconut cake and the carrot cake. Just writing about it is making me want to go back for more. Highly highly recommend it!

::I am not a big cake fan, but I really enjoy Cake Bar. One of my favorite cakes here is the Key Lime cake. I love key lime pie and the flavor and texture of this cake are spectacular. We brought one to a friend's house and it was devoured very quickly. The chocolate cake is very rich and a chocolate lovers dream. They main reason I didn't give it five stars is the long and a tad bit slow line that is a bit cramped. If you are handicapped or have mobility issues, then it's best to wait outside while a loved one gets your cake. Hopefully they love you enough to not eat all the cake before getting back to you.

::Quite possibly the cheapest food at Trinity Groves and a decent "casual date" spot. Located on the back side of Trinity Groves next to the main parking lot. Large selection on "traditional" cakes with over a dozen flavors, large slices and thick frosting, some cake balls, and a few drink options along with full-cake and custom order selections. It's a very "counter-service" venue, with a customer buying their cake at the counter with self-service forks and tables both inside and out. Staff was friendly, cake varied a bit (the strawberry slice was very good, the wedding cake flavor tasted a little dry). Customers buy individual slices pre-cut in a triangle-shaped plastic container (cool shape). Cake was very sweet, definitely an occasional indulgence. Do not recall seeing any options for dairy-free, gluten, or any other options for dietary restrictions. Two slices were less than $12.00 together. Did not observe any specials.
