  I was craving whole wheat vegan pizza and trough google near me we just found the most clean, well presented pizza spot. I must confess is the best pizza we have ever had, it was so yummy and well balanced quality ingredients and their crust OMG you have to try it. The guy at register was so nice to explain me everything. STOP READING AND GO HAVE THE BEST WHOLE WHEAT PIZZA OF YOUR LIFE!!😋😍👩🏻‍🍳👨🏻‍🍳❤️

  It was great 22 years ago,when I worked there with Tony, Tony, Adam and Bella, every once in a while. Awesome split pea soup, focaccia, and creamy pesto pasta. I can't wait to try the contemporary incarnation. Is Toni I still around?

  The best Kosher pizza place on the upper west side! Huge variety of Healthy options, delicious fresh pasta dishes, salads and the calzones are made to order Fresh! I always stop by when I'm around . I sent all my out of the city friends there when in the area and they can't thank me enough. Cafe Viva is A WINNER!

  If I did not write a review you would be missing out. Much of the food is vegan. The vegan carrot cake is the best I have ever had anywhere. Light and truly dessert like. Their vegan pizza slices and meatball sandwich are the best. I have been here many times over the years.

  This review is similar to ones I just read concerning delivery. I am not sure how cafe viva operates when you eat in, but from my delivery experience I can assure you there are better options out there. I ordered pizza/pasta for delivery specifically so that I would not have to walk outside in the freezing cold at night. However, when the employee delivering the food called to say he was here, he refused to find my dorm (despite me explaining clearly how easy it was to find from his location) and hung up on me mid-sentence. I called the restaurant and explained what happened, and when they attempted to call the employee, he did not answer their calls. I then hung up and proceeded to call him again myself, until lo-and-behold, he found my dorm and was waiting downstairs. I went down to get the food and while obviously I knew the situation was unfortunate I tried to be nice and understanding, however the employee rudely shoved the bag into my face, and before I could say another word he was out the door. Best of all, the food was COLD. I called the restaurant back to explain my frustration (with the rude attitude and cold food) and all I received was "if the food was delivered within the delivery time then I'm not sure what you want me to do"...a good business knows to help the customer out when they have made a mistake, and while I would have been forgiving if they made an effort to correct their mistakes, sadly I did not get any apology/solution to this error. Do not order from this restaurant.
