::Great food, nice atmosphere, somewhat blasé staff. There is a built in 20% service charge, which I resent a bit. Not because of the amount (we average 20-25%); i just want to feel like it's my choice. Otherwise it isn't so much me showing gratitude for good service as it is me supplementing wages.

::What an amazingly cool little place. Service was great and the food was excellent. I needed a place to hang out for about 5 hours and they were cool about that. I ate dinner and had a few drinks and worked on my laptop. They even have a small outside patio.

::Great staff and a good section of wines by the glass. The back room is a bit too cozy for a good date setting (tables quite close together, no partitions), but the bar is loud-enough-but-not-too-loud to have a lively conversation without broadcasting it.

::I got the croque madame because I'd heard so much about it from these reviews, and while it was good (I was STARVING), overall the flavor combinations did not wow me. It is bread, cheese, sauce, and egg. Had there been some pancetta used or a hint of truffle or something to enhance the flavor profile, it could have been amazing. Next time I'll try a main dish, even though the prices are a bit steep.

::It was not crowded and they had several staff working. I read a chapter of my book while I waited for them to even take my drink order (which they never did), let alone food. I left after 20 minutes or so. If I could give them zero I would. Which is disappointing because the menu had some great looking items.
