  My friend and I dined there before seeing An American in Paris. We had a great time. It was very busy, but our server, Burk, took excellent care of us. She was friendly, professional and attentive. I really love the atmosphere. The staff seems to work together so well, and it is just very pleasant to eat there.

  Last night my husband and I wanted to have dinner before seeing David Sedaris. We didn't get that far. We began with the Coconut Shrimp and also the Crostini appetizer. The shrimp, obviously frozen out of the box and served with a bottled cocktail sauce. Beyond awful. The crostini was hard enough to break a tooth, served with canned diced tomatoes on the side. No flavor, no creativity, no effort. The bartender was professional and attentive, but the tonic used as a mixer in our cocktails was completely flat. What a huge disappointment all around.

  Cadillac Cafe was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and the personnel were exceptional. Alainia was a gracious server who cared about providing information to help us make wise choices. Jonathan also served us well with refills on water, quiet conversation and a kind spirit. Felicia was engaging and very accommodating in seating us. We had a great experience at Cadillac Cafe in Detroit.
