::This place is cute. However its 37 degrees out with a feel of 30 and they have both gigantic doors WIDE OPEN. My husband and i couldn't wait to cone here for a while and have a taste of their got chocolate. Turns out this chocolate joint doesn't serve got chocolate. I didn't see any chocolate products on the shelves, but a lot of cute ornaments very apothecary-chic, and lots of liquor. With one table to sit next to the wide open doors, you might as well be outside, with nothing warm to drink. The space feels small although it part of a large structure because 98% of the space is taken up by the brewing and making of their product. Real cute if you take a tour, and only if you take a tour. I'll never come back to this cold, sterile space.

::Great place to visit, rustic. Great people in charge and very friendly chocolat makers. Organic products with distinct flavors. Cacao Prieto Is a gem within Red Hook.

::This would be an amazing place, if you could actually buy anything there. The single employee at Cacao Prieto saw me waiting as she finished up with someone, then without a word left the booth unattended for 20 minutes, then came back out, ignored me, and waited for another group to walk over. I'll never buy another Prieto product. The Widow Jane side is under new ownership and temporarily unable to sell bottles while they wait for the new license to come through. Unlike the Prieto side, they were responsive, and quick to explain the situation. I will be back for them once the new license is granted.

::Delicious smells emanate from this unique chocolate shop, and the wonderful peacock in the back during warmer months is a site to remember.
