  Exceptional shop! Brought my 2003 S10 Pickup truck into C&A and dealt directly with Tom. Dropped it off to them and they were kind enough to give me a ride home. Had some leaks coming down from the seals (leaking oil). While there, I told them also to give me a tune up, fresh plugs, wires, transmission service, oil change, oil pressure switch and installed new rear leaf spring shackles that I provided them. As far as the main seals under the motor, they though they had to pull the motor and tranny to gain access. fortunately they didn't have too. This went from being an almost $3000 job to about $1365 (phew) - My Truck, with 111,000 runs stronger and cleaner than ever- I bought it used so she always ran a bit sluggish. So the only complaint I do have, is that when I got my truck back, the light gray interior that I try to keep so clean always, was primarily covered in grease, including the seats on both sides and grease and scuff marks all over the interior of the door panels. I spent all day the next day, looking for various products to scrub and clean my interior. Needless to say, the interior now looks fantastic. I get it, its an old pick up truck, but I do drive it to work a few times a week wearing dress pants and a button down shirt so I could really do with out the greasy seats. I would recommend covering the seats with plastic going forward. Other than that, do not let that discourage you from bringing your vehicle in for any type of service as the mechanics here are, honest, fair, hard working and based on the work on my truck so far, take pride in there work. Thank you C & A and I will back with future services/repairs. UPDATE: The Owner of the shop contacted me directly about the dirty interior. I should have spoken to them before leaving that day and really didn’t give them the opportunity to make it right. Non the less, he was concerned about it and was apologetic. Once again, these are the type of people you want to deal with when it comes to maintaining your vehicle. Thank you C & A Auto!

  I was surprised when I noticed the Tireman's sign gone but relieved to see the same employees there when I walked in. I always feel comfortable when I get tires and repairs done here.

  Excellent experience. Came in for a NYS Inspection, offered a free loaner while they worked on car. Staff very courteous and professional.

  The staff is always so helpful and not pushy at all ! I never feel like i am being pushed into buying things i dont need. They always explain everything in detail and even show you the issue so you know that you really need whatever it is that they are recommending. The word of mouth from this place was enough for me to try them... but their exceptional service and their polite and down to earth staff made my visit such a positive one! AND they have a knowledgeable female in the office , which was nice for me , as a woman, to talk to another woman about my car and my tires. She was great!

  I have serviced my cars at C & A for about five times. Generally, I deal with Jerry and on few occasions I have spoken to the mechanic. Without exceptions, all my experiences with Jerry and his staff are positive. They are all patient, attentive and very specific (however, in layman's language) when describing issues and resolutions with which I come to their shop. The work is done promptly. And the quality is high - I never went back to "re-fix" or readjust anything. Highly recommend to anyone. Michael
