::In the middle of a very cute art District of sorts they offer really high quality food and baked goods. In your way, they are definitely worth a detour as the food is not overly expensive but based in quality could be sold for much more.

::Update: Wow! Ordered a yellow cake with chocolate frosting for a graduation party and this cake was absolutely PHENOMENAL. No joke, the beat cake I have had in years. Very well done cake decorations as well, everyone was commenting on how great it looked. My thanks to Bywater Bakery for an excellent finishing touch to our graduation party, couldn't have been better!

::Fantastic selection of baked goods and brunch food you can eat in or take out. Lots of coffee drinks, teas and other soft drinks. Nice clean, comfortable atmosphere. I got the quiche with artichoke and spinach, probably the best I've ever had. The put boiled egg halves in it. I went during Jazz Fest and they had popular local trombonist Corey Henry with a jazz band. Irvin Mayfield walked in and joined the band. Only in New Orleans.

::I had a Go-Cup of grits, bacon, eggs and cheese. So tasty!! My wife got a savory hand pie and liked it a lot. There's a great vibe here. Piano player on a Saturday morning was pleasant too.

::Traveled to NOLA for my girls 30th birthday and needed a cake, I found this place on google and was impressed my the reviews. I called ahead and I confused as I was the associated was very patient with me and helped me on a decision. We concluded on the chintelly cake, three layers if cake with fruit in between. The icing was perfect. The Birthday girl stated that she did not even like cake, but she was in love with this one. She said it was perfect. The pastries are great and freshly baked as well. Great price!
