  I was surprised to see a new coffee shop taking the place of the former Silent Flight Coffee. I dropped for a cappuccino because that's my favorite measure of what a coffee shop/barista is all about. The owner was extremely pleasant, which is always a good start. She prepared an old-school dry cappuccino served in a paper cup; since it appears that Buzz Beans hasn't been open long, I can let that slide even though I like a real cup. The foam was excellent, with a far better taste than most other dry caps. Once I got through the foam, the drink itself was much hotter and more bitter than the best cappuccinos I've had. While there's room for improvement on this particular drink, if you're more of a latte drinker or like the cold espresso drinks, Buzz Beans should have you covered (I believe I also saw cold brew on the menu). It's a good addition to the neighborhood and I hope things go well!
