  Have been coming here for 25 years. The place has not changed an iota. White trash redneck college student vibe for those who are neither white trash, nor college student. The only bar I know that is intentionally divey.

  Very hipster bar with a ton of random decor. Drinks come in plastic cups and gives the college feel vibe, except with very few college kids. Always a wide mix of folks from San Francisco here, making it diverse and fun. Music can get quite loud, but there is space to move around. Always a fun time when we went to Butter.

  One of my favorite bars of the city. This bar exudes a mixture between hipster and white trash, which is apparent by their drink names. I haven't gone here much during weeknights, but on the weekend this place is off the hook. The music usually brings you back to the 90's, and there is constant popcorn and other greasy food flowing by you, as well as jello shots served by servers on skates. Always a fun time at Butter!

  Quirky and cozy dive bar. I laughed hard at the $4 Spaghetti-O's, then almost bought them 2 hours later. I liked the vibes but definitely not for everybody, most people here will be under 40 and wearing a hoodie or sports jersey rather than a button-down.
