  I love this place. Many herbal products and ayurvedic oils shampoo books and wonderful gentle people.

  Filled with Indian/hindu items from cricket balls to strings of flowers to statues. Up stairs and downstairs the smell of incense and the bright colors lure you around each corner. The staff does not hound you or follow you, as it the way of so many shops these days. A welcome relief to allow just wandering. NOTE: Medical consultations are going on in the store. We didn't realize (and had no way of knowing) so we were (embarrassingly) shushhhed. We felt really bad....so...Library voices, boys and girls.

  I'm going to Butala Emporium for some years and I always find there what I'm looking for. Usually I go there to see Dr Kumar and ask for is opinion about my health. And this year,once more, he just did it very wisely. I'm very grateful to him!! The instruments have a good price and quality and the staff are very nice and calm, letting us just look around has we like. There you can find what is difficult to find elsewhere.

  I occasionally buy my ayurvedic oils (mostly mustard oil) from here as needed. Polite and helpful staff.

  Butala Emporium NY have Great collection. Not easy to find even at single place in India. Very reasonable price. Honest staff which don't force or use smartness to sell their products but gives honest opinion. I visit them often whenever I come to Jackson Heights. Their collection of books, organic supplements, natural cosmetics and incense are best.
