  I used to love this place but now the service is awful. I have gone there twice in the past 6 months and I have been completely ignored Both times.

  This place has a lot of potential. Hoping they make one in Phoenix soon. The only reason why this place isn’t getting full stars is due to them not having enough staff and having their cooks also handling the registers. It creates long waits when they are handling their orders and expected by their bosses to also multi-task at the register. You have to wait to get acknowledged due to them focusing on their orders being made. Hire more staff please. Ones to do register and at least more people to cook orders so it’s quicker and not a long wait. It’s not staffs fault, it’s their corporate way of scheduling how many are on staff.

  I came location 450 N Alma School Rd Mesa,AZ 85201 on March 4th, 2018 at 9 am. I ordered 7 burritos and 3 rolled tacos. I asked for no onions on all the burritos, but when I got home to enjoy them with my family there was onions on all of them and they were cold. I have eaten at Burrito Express a lot and this is the first time I have experienced a issue so I know this isn't your company's norm.   Dark, dirty and noisy. Bad customer service. Girl at counter kept scratching her head and touching food.

  Outstanding! Excellent food, super cool people. Prices absolutely phenomenal for what you get! Bye bye Filibertos! 😃😎 UPDATE: That was my first experience. Every visit here after has been quite bad. They overcharged me, failed to fix it, and as many others have pointed out, the staff are extremely rude. They're especially huffy if you go in close to close, which would be somewhat understandable, except that they close at 4 p.m. every day! What kind of Mexican food place closes at 4 p.m.?!? If you don't want people coming in at 3:45 p.m., don't say are open till 4 p.m.! Close at 3! Close at 2! Close at noon! Or don't even work at all!
