  I have been with Burke and Herbert for 25 years and have always received outstanding services. The best one is at the main office in old town Alexandria. Ms. Mariana Mesak is always there to help me. She’s friendly , extremely polite and competent. She’s always helpful and understanding. I love this bank.

  I have never seen such service in my life as in this bank. My wife and I were going to open a checking account together, then open a business account. But when we arrived at the brunch, a shock awaited me. Our documents were checked and social numbers, then the manager comes and starts asking - you live in Burke, why are you in Alexandria? Why do you need an account if you opened this year at United Bank… In short, she asked a lot of incompetent questions, in the end I got up and left this place. It's such a nonsensialism. After it, we went across the street and open account with TRUIST. I wish this bank would most likely close, and the manager should be fired and no longer allowed to work with customers.

  Best bank ever. It's everything a bank is supposed to be: honest, reliable, boring, secure, with stately architecture (at least at the central branch) and friendly, competent people that actually speak English and will help you. Places like this should be the norm that is taken for granted in every city in America to fulfill a basic societal need.

  Excellent Rating for Burke and Herbert Bank. I have banking with B&H for over 20+ years and my parents have for over 50+ years. There are many attributes we love about the bank. Their longevity, their customer services, the simplicity of the bank. Which brings me to "simplicity", I recently just received my new debit card for renewal, I noticed right a way that the picture or face of the debit card has changed. I called the B&H to inquire as to whether I could request the original picture or face of the card, which has the bank in Old Town on the face. I thought this is a great representation of the Bank and what they stand for. It also stands out from all other "bank" cards, "credit" cards etc. I was sadden when I was told by the B&H representative that we have no options to request the "original" face on the debt card. I was told this was "company policy" while I completely understand "company policy", I don't understand why we are becoming "one of those other banks" in looks with our debit card. I believe we can come together in numbers and request to have the option of choosing a different look/face on the debit card or the original look. This isn't asking too much. After all our bank is in it's own category and why shouldn't it say that way is the small areas, which over the years has. At the time I called about the face of the debit card, I was told that there were other customers who had requested the same, how many other B&H customers would like to have the option to request the face or a picture of the old historical Burke and Herbert Bank building on the front of their card? I think together if we ask for this small change, perhaps Mr. Burke and Herbert or our current president Mr. Scott McSween would consider a small change back to the original face. Small, but meaningful. So thank you Burke and Herbert for a consideration of change in advance! Another loyal Burke and Herbert customer.
