  Good deep dish pizzas. Not upto the mark as Chicago style in Chicago famous pizzeria's. The pizza was cheesy with the cheese pulling and was kind of flavorful. Would recommend to try out their deep dish pizzas.

  We spent time in Alexandria last night exploring the area. At around 9 pm we were looking for a place to eat. We settled on Bugsy’s and were able to be seated right away. The street was loud with a lot of activity but it was quiet and comfortable inside. We had a group of seven. The service was great and the food was good too. We ordered pizza, a calzone, spaghetti, a sandwich and salads. It’s a nice casual environment and family friendly.

  I went here for a date and we ordered the deep dish meat lovers pizza. It was amazing ! We had fantastic service as well.I ended up coming here again for lunch the next day and got a thin crust veggie pizza and also tried their chili. Both were great.

  I have been to Bugsy's twice now and both times I had a true deep dish pizza. Now don't get this confused with that big pizza joint's pan pizza that you and I grew up with. This pizza is over an inch thick and that's with tons of cheese and toppings weighing it down! The crust is cooked through perfectly, neither doughy nor overly crunchy, and has a good taste and even texture throughout. I recommend the Bay pizza (shrimp is different, but really tasty!) and they will happily bring you some Old Bay seasoning (trust me, you want this flavor combination) to add at the table if you ask. I saw people next to me getting burgers and out comes a huge plate of fries as your included side, so the portions seem generous for other dishes too! The atmosphere is rustic and homey with exposed wooden beams, a decorative fireplace, and other decor on the walls. The temperature was warm and comfortable in winter, so nobody around me was wearing their coat unlike some more typical chain restaurants. Service was friendly, timely, and I had a great meal. The only downside was that fountain drinks are packed with ice and you only get two free refills, which is pretty stingy for $3.25. I deducted a star here from an otherwise excellent experience, but if you want a great pizza from a small local restaurant, I really recommend Bugsy's!

  It was a beautiful mid-November day and we decided to visit Old Town Alexandria. We chose Bugsy's for lunch and had a table outside. Service was good. The fries were excellent and served hot! Coke products served. My only negatie is: Need more comfortable chairs that do not stab you in the back/hip area please.
