  The (flavor) food is good. I ordered stewed chicken -or brown stew chicken . I specifically questioned "what parts of the chicken are included in either order"? I was informed legs and thighs. I went on to state that I do not like the thighs, the legs are fine but i will not deviate from the menu.... Upon opening my dish, and to my surprise; a dish of chicken backs and thighs. Not one leg. Check your food before you leave the establishment to ensure that your order is correct!!! The only reason why they are getting three stars right now is because i am hungry. Again, the food is good overall.

  I used to like this place when they first came around, but now its terrible. I got a patty the other day, don't ask me what it was, I guess that's how terrible it was and a fish fritter. The fritter was greasy, dry and it was just like an over fried piece of dough. The patty was also dry and over spicy. My son picked up some food tonight, a curry chicken roti, the chicken has bones, which is annoying to be spitting out bones, the roti bread was dry and stiff. The rice and beans (not peas) was dry and flavorless, basically not good or fresh at all. We will never go back to you guys, I have lived in Fort Green all my life ---1 block from you-- I would rather go to the spot on Fulton St. and Marcy Avenue, yeah that's right I said it. Go to a real jamaican spot in crown heights. Plus VERY expensive too. You are way overpriced and your food is not all that ANY MORE! You are @ 3 stars on these Google reviews, cook better and have better service!

  I've been to this place quite a number of times in my one year in Brooklyn. So let's think of this place as a six sided dice, with the same probability of landing on each side of course. If you roll a 1, they get almost your entire order wrong and proportions as confusing as crossfit. If you roll a 2, they get almost the entire order wrong but the proportion is at least decent. If you roll a 3, they get one thing wrong and proportions are confusing, once again. If you roll a 4, they get one thing wrong and proportions are not bad. If you roll a 5, they finally get your order correct but the proportions make you depressed. If you roll a 6, hallelujah, the order is correct and the proportions is good. Unfortunately the food is not very fresh. But would I pick it over the Chipotle a block down? Absolutely.

  Sorry, they don't give enough meat. Ugh. The food tastes very good; but what's the point if you only get 3 small pieces of chicken or beef. I guess that's how they're paying for their renovations.

  This spot was a major vibe. Where I'm from in Texas I can't find good Caribbean food like this and it was great to have a nice taste of my roots. I had stew chicken and it's just like my mom makes. If I'm ever in the area I'd definitely make the time to stop in here again.
