  I'm a little disappointed with this hotel because of how they handled their bed bug situation. I calmly went to the lobby and told the gentleman (who I believe is the manager) how I had woken up with bites and seen bed bugs. All he had to say was he didn't have a spare room and he's never had this problem. From there, he just dismissed me. I understand the damage was already done, but I just felt like he wasn't concerned whatsoever. It’s been a nightmare ever since leaving. I’ve had to miss work because of the allergic reaction I’m getting to the bites, but the doctor has provided a cream for now that should help. My clothes had to be dumped as well as my bed. Be careful staying here, you’ve been warned.

  Free parking which is a big deal when booking a hotel in SF. About a 10 minute walk to ghirardelli square. It's definitely older Hotel and the rooms on Lombard Street I would imagine a quite noisy at night. I requested a room not facing that street and was very happy with it. Rooms are not huge but I got one with a queen bed and a pull-out sofa. Slept 5 people just fine. For the price and location I would say it's well worth it. Nice friendly staff. The parking lot area is pretty tiny it's two smaller areas. If you can't find a spot just park and give the staff your key and they will parking for you

  Great location. Easy to walk around and take a break from driving. Free parking which is nice. Easy to hear voices and people passing the hallway. Good spot overall.

  Awesome place, not far from all the fun stiff to do in SF! I felt safe in the area whichbis important to me when staying in SF. The continental breakfast was all right but not amazing, the rooms were very clean and i loved all the space in our room. Two dollar canned soda machine meant i had to bring my own soda from a local convenience store. Friendly service and house keeping was also a major plus along side the free on site parking that was included with the room.

  We stayed here for two night's in January. Had a spectacular time here. We had an unexpected guest surprise me,and at about 10:30 pm, the front desk person so very kindly set us up with a cot for my Nephew to sleep on. We all enjoyed a continental breakfast,which was much more than we expected. Everyone that we encountered there were very nice and kind. Abviously, it's a family run business. Should be proud of yourselves for being in a very difficult business! Booked solid when we were there. Only place we will stay when we return. Miss You
