  This 1 star given is only to write my HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE with Budget At Ronald Regan Airport The Staff (VERY LIMITED) were very rude and had no solutions. The operations managers Corrine Kaye Elder Caucasian Women was an absolute WORST not only was she Unapologetic for my nearly 2hr wait In line (Yes 2HRS at a terribly busy airport with only 2 clerks to help) She yelled in front of the line wrapped around the rope it’s not my fault your credit doesn’t allow you to reserve with your debit card. Oh yeah they have switched policies which is ridiculous that you must do a credit check on your DEBIT card if you do not own a credit card. Oh Yea & Mind You This is 1 day before my trip 1 day before my daughter birthday and party, to now tell my that my confirmation that I paid 1 month in advanced with my debit card would be refunded. This an extreme inconvenience. ALSO the Clerk Tibblet Who Was Also VERY RUDE, told me before she called the manager she is not going to do anything stand here if you want nobody can help you but I’ll call. TERRIBLE

  Watch out for hidden fees at Budget Car Rental! I booked a car for two days. Picked it up at 8am on a Saturday and returned it at 8am the following Monday. But because I had told Budget I expected to be back from my trip at 11:30pm on Sunday, I was charged a $20 late fee. Bottom line: Just because Budget charges you for two full days doesn't mean you can actually use the car for two full days. To avoid a late fee, you have to call them by phone and extend your reservation. Customer service provided this helpful response: "Budget assesses a modest fee of $20 for each occurrence to the rental extension...because of this the late fee is valid not [sic] adjustment is due. We sincerely appreciate your business, and regret any misunderstanding or inconvenience." Okay, you sincerely appreciate my business but are willing to lose it over a "modest" fee?

  Personally I have been treated as a valuable customer every time I've rented with budget. They greet me with a smile and make me feel like my business matters to them. The car was spotless and they obviously conduct proper maintenance.

  I reserved a vehicle with this company for my vacation last summer. Had my flight booked and everything. Well to my dismay, my flight was delayed by an hour and would put me in the airport around midnight. I called this budget location to let them know my flight was delayed and that I was still coming. The representative assured me that my reservation was still good for 24 hours and not to worry about my delayed flight. To my horror, when I arrived to pick up my reserved rental I was told that because I was late, they had no more cars to give out. The next available car to rent would not return until 6am. WHAT?!!! It was midnight and you expect me to stay at the airport for 6+ hours when I was traveling with my 2 year old alone? All the attendant could tell me was sorry there was nothing he could do. What was the point of me making a reservation? I even called in to let them know! I am absolutely livid at this company and recommend you not do business with them. I ended up having to go with another rental company that ended up costing me an arm and a leg! I prepared, booked the reservation with expectations that I would have been able to get out of the airport in a city I did not know without hassle. I tried calling customer service to report this but of course it was midnight and no one was able to answer. When I did get a hold of someone, they told me the only way to report this was by email, and LUCKY me, their system was down. When I did finally get an answer they told me they will make sure to give me discounts on my next reservation. But they did not tell me how to get those discounts, or offer me a promo code. How DID they keep track that they screwed be over? It was a nightmare and I will NEVER rent with budget ever again. I wish I could give no stars.

  I was met by a friendly and helpful staff. They treated me like family. I loved that and they were very professional from start to finish. Even when I dropped the car off, the team was fast and courteous and I was met with a smile. Great experience. Well done Budget.
