::Moved to DC 4 years ago and have had problems finding someone to do my hair correctly since then (not sure why, I have a simple layered cut). Decided to try Bubbles, and got placed with a random stylist, but I will be going back to her from now on! Carter did a wonderful job getting me back to my normal self and making sure my hair was exactly how I wanted it. She was great at assessing what I wanted, taking the time to make sure it was done right, and even after it was done she checked multiple times to make sure that it was exactly what I was looking for. I'll be coming back here regularly, for sure!

::If I could give 0 stars, I would. I made an appointment weeks in advance to get my hair styled for my wedding first thing in the morning (8am). I received a phone call at 8:05-8:10 (I was running a little late and had just parked) to notify me that my stylist was sick and not in that day. There was no substitute available and the next available appointment was 11am (the time of my wedding). The failure of the stylist to show up or get a sub (since she was sick) to cover her completely changed the course and atmosphere of my wedding morning. It is entirely unprofessional and I would expect more out of a franchise salon. Canceling a haircut is one thing, but canceling a style design that someone is relying on for an event is another (esp. on the day of, and AFTER the start time). Had I known the evening before, I may have been able to prepare other arrangements without the stress that I experienced that morning. It did not seem that the stylist or the salon cared that their actions left their customer high and dry and thus, stressed out and panicking. I am COMPLETELY DISSATISFIED with the stylist and the salon. I asked the receptionist to let the stylist and manager know how angry and upset I was and I NEVER heard back. Not even a call to apologize. I consider that to be TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. This feedback pertains solely to the Bubbles at the following location: 201 Massachusetts Ave NE, Washington, DC 20002

::I saw Loan and had told him I wanted a pixie cut. He was very considerate when he told me that I didn't have the right kind of hair for it and it would not hold up. I really respect that! So I let him do a haircut that would look good, and he definitely delivered! I love my hair, and I can't believe how cheap this place is compared to the rest of DC!
