  I was just in a car accident, and my car had major body damage. Thankfully, a trusted friend in the auto industry recommended me to BTO auto works. From the moment I entered the building, I felt like the staffs FIRST priority. The team at BTO is comprised of highly dedicated workers with ample knowledge of Auto body work. The owner, Ray, is dedicated to his customers and goes the extra mile to keep the job affordable and efficient. The cost of labor and materials was fairly cheap when compared to the competition. I also felt assured and confident throughout the whole process, just as anyone should after an accident. Ray and his team also answered any questions I had throughout the entire job. BTO makes an effort to notify customers of any delays, no matter how minimal. In my personal experience, my car was finished on time and slightly cheaper than what I was expecting. The quality of the work was exceptionally detailed. I was thankful for their exceptional customer service and thorough craftsmanship .

  This was by far the worst possible experience imaginable. If you care about your car at all and wish to keep it for any good amount of time this is NOT the place to go! The quality and care that went into the work was completely unacceptable. The job was to repair minor rust damage and clean off other sections before new paint was applied. The process took three times longer than I was originally told. Then upon completion and getting the car back several issues showed up including but not limited to: 1) painted over rust! (which was to be removed as half of the work to be done!) 2) dramatic paint damage from cleaners used on areas of the car that required nothing. 3) over a dozen paint chips and scratches from poor treatment of the body panels during the repair work. 4) a broken locking system from incorrect removal requiring both door panels to be removed in order to correct the problem. 5) a substantial chunk was scraped off of the bumper. 6) the wrong finish was applied despite clarifying that it should match the original and having the original paint and finish right there to use as a reference. 7) paint (some even from other cars) was dripped onto the bumper of my car and not taken care of until pointed out. The solution was Ray scratching at it with his finger nail and wiping lacquer thinner over it which still left parts of the bumper discolored. 8) one of the light housings was broken at this shop to the point that a replacement part had to be acquired at my own expense. (this was broken beyond repair when the issue was brought up to Ray and his solution was just to stick it back in and hit it harder) When confronted about these issues, nothing was done and was met with the owner yelling about the car not being a show car so none of it actually mattered. After the fact, I found out that BTO lost the contract they had with Mercedes-Benz of Wappingers Falls and I can see why. No one should ever be satisfied with saying the job was close enough, especially when advertising that they do "high quality" repairs on high end cars. The bottom line is simple, don't so much as bother getting a quote from this place because the headache from the experience will never be worth it.
