  I was actually surprised at the negative reviews as our experience was totally different- we just happened onto this little gem while we were waiting for the bus. I must say it is a small but good things come in small packages - the staff at the counter were very helpful, friendly and wrapped our baked good individually and with great care. The selection was varied, interesting and from savory to sweet with each item having a card explaining the item. Pricing was reasonable...being more costly on some items but not over-priced. We tried many different items as we'd never tasted many before and I have to say these were some of the most delicious baked goods we've ever tasted. Not like European style, but definitely a one of a kind flavors, textures and quality...we actually plan on returning here (Ala Moana mall) not because of the mall - (we ate not mall goers) but because of this bakery!

  At the Ala Moana site.... Sorry but their kome bread wasn't ready at noon. Bakeries bake early morning so everything is ready when the doors open. The kome wasn't. In fact it wasn't to be ready until 2, fully sliced. Update is they no longer sell the kome. I therefore don't see the point

  I was promised two comp loafs of bread. Asked for a confirmation. No reply until when I posted this bad review on Google is when I got a reply...and then he retracted the free bread offer... crazy.!! Oh well I wanted a second confirmation because he didn't reply to my previous email...

  Sorry, but there is no "BRUG" bakery in Hokkaido, only a "BURG" bakery. Did they change the name or is this a copy cat of the original? Anyway, the service is nothing like they original. Staff seemed half asleep and bread is too sweet and greasy.

  Love that they opened in pearlridge shopping center! Now I won't have to travel so far to get fresh great tasting Hokkaido baked goods 😊 I just had a walnuts raisin bread and the sweetness was just right. Looks like there's something for everyone here if you want a sweet treat, something savory, a cute turtle pastry, or fresh baked bread. Coffee drinks too. Smells so good here
