::If you check out my review history, you'll see I don't give bad reviews. This experience was so bad I felt the need to warn others. I called Browns a few weeks ago on the recommendation from a friend (I'm new in town) and asked if they'd put on new brakes and rotors that I would provide. Guy said no problem, 75.00 for the front and 75.00 for the back. Told me to bring it in at eight am so they could knock it out in a few hours. I only get a day off during the week every other week, so I had to schedule in advance. So I drop it off at eight am sharp, they tell me a few hours max (maybe 12pm), so I go home and get my day moving. I wait until about three to call as I haven't heard anything yet, and when I do, he tells me they haven't started on it; that his guys are on lunch and he will have them finish it by five. I confirm it will be done by five, he says yes, so I thank him, hang up and wait. No big deal, I understand people get busy. Thirty minutes later, at 3:45 (they close at 5), he calls me and says, "my mechanic just came in and told me that some of the parts you gave him are missing, and others aren't the right parts, so we can do the job for you, but it's going to cost you 300 instead of 150, since we're using our parts" Sadly, I knew this was a lie, because when I purchased the parts, I recorded myself unboxing and cross referencing the invoice with the parts, to ensure nothing was missing. I told him this and said that I guess it was just my word against his, and he responded with, "Yep. So what do you want me to do?". I told him to do the back (for 150 instead of 75, and they use their parts) and I'll do my fronts somewhere else. I get a call literally 20 minutes later saying it's done. I arrive, feeling scammed and gross. Pick up my car, verbally confirm my unused parts are in the trunk, pay the dues, leave and get home. I check my trunk for my parts and sure enough, not only did they charge me double for labor, but they also used my parts... THE SAME PARTS THEY SAID THEY COULDN'T USE. All in all they stole my product or my money, however you want to look at it. Garbage company, leadership, stay far far away unless you want your entire day wasted while being extorted with a smile. I went to H & H Auto two weeks later and they did a wonderful job. I recommend both older and younger David.
