  Small coffee shop with minimal offerings. Amazing coffee. Strangely always filled with men when I've been there..

  I have crazy respect for Brown and their purist ideas about coffee. If you truly like coffee, this is a destination spot. Unfortunately I've never once felt welcomed in the space and, honestly, can't wait to get my drink and go. Get nervous even ordering without double checking that what I want is on the menu.. because they will make you feel like an idiot if it's not. Take this part of my review for what it's worth. One thing I love about coffee is the hospitality aspect.. and I don't get that from Brown. However they really do serve one of the best cups of coffee I've ever had.

  Batista was very nice BUT they will tell you how to take your coffee! You want it with cream? No coffee for you!

  Great coffee starts with great beans, and Brown consistently roast the best beans in town. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and this particular retail location is beautiful in it's simplicity.

  -awesome hospitality and awesome coffee. We are from out of town and they took the time to give us local recommendations of things to do and it was clear our coffee was made with heart. Would recommend. Thanks.
