::I'm not sure why this place changed names recently, but my family has been coming to this location for our bread for years. My grandmother lives around the corner, and we'd all drive in on holidays from Long Island and pick up our still warm loaves, and then head one door down to Pisa Pork Store and grab our fresh mozzarella, sopresatta and some arancini for good measure. Even when grandma would head out to the island my uncle and her would pick up "the good Brooklyn bread" from this place and bring it to us. I remember grabbing the loaves when she'd arrive and hugging the bag and complimenting about how they were still warm(which I now admit is doubtful after an hour and a half long drive in from Bensonhurst. No longer living in New York, this location is still a staple for me every time I fly in to visit my grandma. It's my landmark that I bring my wife to in order to show her "real New York bakeries." I love this place. Great prices, always fresh, never out of the items that I want. I personally couldn't ask for more. It's not a holiday for my family without Brooklyn Bread Company.

::Stale Danishes and the worst customer service. The females working there prioritize on smoking and gossiping about their co workers who don't want to show up for their shift.

::Old School, Small Town Bakery. From a time when quality and the customer came first. Delicious, mouth watering breads, fresh baked. I, we, finished a loaf of their famous prosciutto bread and were looking for more. You can't find this kind of quality and taste in any supermarket. We haven't tasted a better pignoli cookie, soft and tasty. The rainbow cookies, the biscotti's, the semolina bread makes it all worth the trip. The owner, Rocky, a fourth-generation artisan baker is hands-on and has been for almost 30 years. Enjoy!
