  My mother was there after a pacemaker being installed. Overall care I would rate at about a B-; many of staff have no sympathy for the patient. Response to call button very poor. Therapy I would rate at A. . Nurse aids rate at about a D. Nurses seemed very overworked. Staff under staffed. Floor 3was horrible. Floor 2 better. Seems they place those with short term rehab needs with long term nursing care patients and result is care is sub par. Seems Brookdale is deteriorating overall. Sad.

  Was in the facility after knee replacement. Most of the nurses We nice and helpful. We had processed food at every meal except for one day we had fresh eggs.

  I arrived at Brookdale in June of 2016. As many of its residents I had left my own home. This was my first experience of living in a community setting, since going away to college at Purdue in the 50's! The move was a transition to be sure, moving itself a challenge even with the help of family and friends--many changes and challenges and new things to learn. Yet, from the first visit to Brookdale and tour of the facility (note: Janet Lawson drives a mean golf cart!) I found the staff to be warm, friendly and truly helpful. My neighbors and new friends were welcoming. Though not by nature a gregarious person, I am able to be as to myself or as sociable as I like. At Brookdale I feel at home -- free to entertain friends and family and to get on with life.!

  Be careful of sexual predators here as someone preys on weak elderly patients at night while sleeping. Some Bastard who works there sexually asaulted my grandmother here!

  Wife was transported there over the weekend after knee reconstruction. Place appears old but clean. People have been nice, when they are around, food has been iffy. Pain meds seem to be hit and miss. Just sent her a good morning text and got three words back, "Cold. Pain. Waiting".
