Today on 4/13 I had the worst experience at Broadway. My order was not how I ordered it and I asked one of the workers who I later found out was a manager could I get some fresh fried chicken on my very cold salad. The guy told me he could not give me fresh chicken but could take the chicken that was already on there and put it back in the deep fryer. I couldn't believe he said that to me I couldn't believe that if a customer comes in and spends almost $30 on 2 salads they don't deserve fresh chicken. I was upset and so I called the other store on Broadway to see if I could talk to a manager and the lady there told me that she had already gotten a call from her sister at the poplar location about the situation that had happened. She then basically called me a liar about what had happened by saying " I'm not calling you a liar but I know my sister would never lie to me" I'm like if your saying that your basically calling me a liar. I asked her if she wanted to roll the cameras back and look at the incident and see what happened then she asked what good would that do. This was absolutely ridiculous. I asked if I could speak to someone higher up and she said it doesn't get any higher than her. I told her I didn't appreciate her calling me a liar about what happened and she said " I'm not calling you a liar but you expect me to believe your word which is a complete stranger over someone who I've known all my life". I just could not believe the treatment I was getting after spending over $60 total for my food. I don't know if it was because me and my mom are black and that's why we were treated this way or what it was but I do know it was just plain disrespectful and disgusting to me. I am a very honest person and I don't like spending my money at places that makes me feel like my money isn't worth s**t to them. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO BROADWAY AGAIN IN MY LIFE. I WILL NOT ACCEPT BEING TREATED THIS WAY, AND I WILL DEFINITELY BE TRYING TO FIND WAYS TO GET THIS PROBLEM LOOKED AT AND TAKEN CARE OF.

The waitress was great. Pizza was good, but the meat kept sliding off. The fried green tomatoes were some of the best I every had. Chef salad was huge, but a bit pricey at 9.75$. No place to park, lucky the bike shop next door was closed... So we parked there.

This place has been around at least since I've been a live and I'm 34. This location is the second but the first original location is on Broad Ave off of Hollywood. I say try both locations but definitely check out the original location for the nostalgia. Great people that have always been nice and respectful to me and my family LITERALLY since I was just a little boy. I honestly believe it's the best pizza in the country. My family is from the Chicago area and we have always seen Broadway's as Chicago style pizza. It beats all the pizza I've had in Chicago while visiting family and family from up North that comes down here always wants to go to Broadway since my parents took them there for the first time YEARS ago. As a child it was always an adventure going to Broadway's now as an adult this new locations is a perfect spot for a beer or a good drink and the best pizza in the world. My suggestion with both locations is get creative with the parking but that's not their fault it's just our wonderful city 😂 and it's kind of part the experience. Also my suggestion would be the "around the world" sausage. I have hear that exlines pizza is the same. No sir! Go to Broadway's

It was nice and quite. Co-workers didn't know they sold plate lunches. The food was good. Co-workers enjoyed the visit as well.
