  Great hostel and prices. Awesome location as well. Close to the 1 train and a great park 2 blocks away. Very helpful staff

  "Auberge" à DÉCONSEILLER, vivement!! - Il y a des cheveux dans les draps de lit et de bain et dans la douche. - Il y a 4 douches par étage mais il n'y a pas toujours de l'eau chaude! - Les matelas des lits sont parfois tellement vieux qu'on sent tous les ressorts. - Ascenseur en panne (100 marches jusqu'au 7ème en portant nos valises!). - Peinture défraîchie. - Trous dans les châssis de fenêtres! - Pas moyen de fermer la porte normalement, il faut tout le temps la fermer à clé. - La porte du palier claque sans arrêt car pas d'arrêt de porte ou fermeture automatique silencieuse. - Chewing-gum collé dans les escaliers (noirs tellement ils sont vieux!!). - Tapis plein poussiéreux dans le "salon". - ...

  Close to Columbia University and just two blocks from the metro 1-line at 103rd. Great door security and very clean. Good water pressure in shower. Helpful front desk staff and friendly maids. Comfy pillows and beds. Half kitchen though with only microwave and one fridge. No onsite laundry, but there are plenty of places to eat and get clothes done in neighborhood. Breakfast sold.

  The hotel is about a 1 minute walk to the subway, a 24hr supermarket, bagel shop, a bar across the street, & Starbucks are close by. It is located in a safe, comfortable neighborhood. And a short walk to one of the largest Gothic churches in the world Cathedral of Saint John the Divine with an amazing Peace Fountain statue, yer trip to NYC isn't complete without being there! This hotel has top notch friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff. There's a nice big lounge area as well. My room was clean with fresh linens, and towels,and there was also housecleaning. Absolutely no complaints, i would definitely recommend.
