  This was the best hike along the Hudson. It is closed now due to wear but hopefully it will reopen in the near future.

  Really enjoyed this hiking trip. It’s not for everyone but for those that want a tougher terrain and seek a small challenge, it’s perfect. Great views, long trails and memories for a lifetime.

  Great hiking spot, but pretty crowded during peak fall season. The initial incline is pretty steep and rocky but it flattens out ad you get higher. During the fall there is a breakneck ridge stop that everyone gets off on with the metro north. You have to be sitting in certain cars to exit at that stop though. Good views over the Hudson. Head to the quaint town cold spring for food and exploring later.

  You're rewarded with beautiful views once you pass some challenging trails and climbing points. Be sure to have proper shoes, clothing, and water as it's a workout. ***Definitely a difficult climb if not prepared - not for the novice hiker or the unfit.
