  My boyfriend talked the place up (although he hadn’t eaten there in a few years), and I had never dined there, so we decided to eat there as our date night this Friday. I had always seen the place, growing up around that area, but I had never been. We arrived and there were no cars in the parking lot. I wondered if they were even open. We got our booth and sat down. We weren’t in a rush so we took our time ordering our food. We got the gator bites as an appetizer, which were decent. When we got our entree it all went downhill. I work in a restaurant as a waitress, so I’m usually very understanding, but they messed up the burger and fries I asked for, so I politely sent it back. The server was also new so we didn’t think too much of it at first. Then my boyfriend tasted his “horseradish” that he asked for on the side for his burger. The owner came to our table and didn’t really say much, he just kinda loomed on our table and when we asked for horseradish again he brought back the same sauce. He said it is a horseradish mayo mixture called horsey sauce and that’s what it says on the menu, but it Tasted nothing like horseradish. Anyways, overall it just was not a pleasurable dining atmosphere. We were not confronted with understanding and the customer is always right attitude when we had clear issues with what we had ordered, and weren’t offered any discount for our inconvenience or even as much as a thank you when we left. We had a 45 dollar dinner, not including tip And I left unsatisfied. I don’t blame the server, she was new and it could be anyone. But the owner coming out should ease some stress, but he seemed defensive of our issues as if it were our fault. It is clear to me why their clientele is limited and I had never been suggested to go there before.

  When we walked in the floor was sticky.the staff was friendly but just standing around.the place was run down and dirty. We all had burgers they were delicious but the fries and onion rings were horrible, soggy and unseasoned

  I really want this restaurant to be good because it is close to my house, but the last time we were there, there was fruit flies, and the refrigerator unit was making a lot of noise. I assume the oil in the fryer was old or burnt or something because any fried food we had tasted horrible. We had onion rings, French fries, and a fried chicken sandwich, and we left the majority of the food and went home and ordered pizza. A couple was walking in as we were leaving and asked us if the food was good there. We told them not to order any fried food. The staff there though was really good and really nice. They just need better quality food. I tried emailing this to the owner/manager, but the email I found for them online was no good.

  Great food but service?? Visited here with several others while in Omaha on business. I ordered the inside out burger which was great (although beware molten cheese leaking out)! I also and the hand cut fries which I enjoyed. The others with me ordered various others sandwiches which they all said were good. HOWEVER, as our food was being delivered the server reached across my neighbor's plate and pushed his drink over with my plate; all of his raspberry ice tea went in my lap. I'm not one to get upset easily and these things do happen so I quickly stood trying to limit the damage but I was pretty soaked. The server did apologize profusely and ran to grab towels to help clean up. I told him things happen and after cleaning up he left. Now, I expected him to take especially good care and make some offer to make up for this but nothing was offered. I was gone to the bathroom for a bit to tidy up so thought maybe they comped meal while I was away. The company we were visiting paid and I was quite surprised after we left when he said they didn't do anything for us on the bill. On top of that, after the event, the server never spoke to me again, leaving my drink empty for the last 20 minutes. Surely this is an odd happening but the service ended up totally bizarre.
