  Flawless! We must have framed 9 or 10 pieces with Brentano’s over the last 18 months. Every frame has been perfect, flawless, and of the highest quality. Joseph Brentano has an incredible eye and I highly recommend you seek his advice, as the results have all been absolutely beautiful, every time bringing out the best qualities of the piece. Really great framing like his can be transformative. That said, he’s also able to work in the most exacting way from gallery specs or your own ideas too for situations where you have a clear vision of what you want.

  Brilliant work; enjoyable experience Joseph has a great eye, is patient, listens and provides sure-handed guidance without being overbearing. Joseph has framed 4 pieces for me recently- a lyrical, playful colored pencil drawing by a noted 20th Century artist (hand carved and lacquered frame); a pair of inexpensive 17th century Dutch engravings; and a serious 19th Century unglazed porcelain plaque by a pate-sur-pate master. His attention to detail was as rigorous, and his exuberance unbridled, for all the projects. We stayed on time, on budget and the results exceeded my expectations. I'm on my way to Joseph's today with a newly-acquired watercolor...
