  The facility is beautiful !!! It is kept extremely clean and it is very nicely decorated! The staff is superb, and they are all so very caring of the residents and have big hearts. The residents say that the food is delicious and they love all the activities that they have planned. In addition to the library rooms with the fireplaces where you can sink into the sofas and read a nice book! The rooms are spacious and comfortable! If you plan on living here or having a loved one live here, you should come and check it out, you won't be disappointed.

  My mom has been living in Brandywine (Melville) since September 2018. Charlene & Kristen were the first 2 people that I met with and both were so warm, caring & compassionate that I knew my mom would be in good hands. From there going forward everyone whom I have come into contact with has been kind to both my mom & myself. Any questions or concerns that I have are responded to immediately. Thank you Brandywine for giving me the peace of mind that I need in knowing that my mom is being well taken care of each & every day!!

  My mother has been living there for more than six months. The facility is kept clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. There are activities to keep the residents busy though my mother does not participate too often. The location is convenient for family members since it is located right off the Long Island Expressway. Meals are better than her previous facility, and she enjoys having a private room which she did not previously have. Nursing staff is very helpful when she does not feel well. My only wish is that it was a little less costly.

  Terrible experience with 2 relatives that went here. They were evaluated and accepted by Brandywine, and of course I had to pay large sums of money up front. One was sent to a hospital within an hour of arrival, because they could not handle her, and the second died less than a month after arrival. Brandywine was resistant to any refunds or any reasonable negotiations about rooms and refunds. They continued to charge us for the first room even though they sent the client out, until we moved her stuff out, it was one box of clothes! The second person was there less than a month so I tried to recover the activity fee, but I was refused because her stuff stayed in the room for a few days after she died, until we could pick it up, so that made her stay more than a month. Literally charging an activity fee for someone who had died. When I tried to explain, the amount of money I spent for one person for less than one month was unreasonable, the response was it's all in the contract, if they don't provide the services there is no provision that you are entitled to a fair negotiation for getting your money back. It's all about the money.

  My dad was there for a month -- there is not enough staff to help the patients. The staff that is there is friendly and helpful but this place is grossly understaffed. My dad was on the second floor and at times there was no one from the staff on the second floor. There is only one elevator which seems to me to be a problem when you have people on the second floor in wheel chairs
