::At first it was a good experience. I picked out two different frames and tried on Contacts. I ordered all three although I was taken aback by the cost of $903 and that was with insurance! When I came back they said that I had not picked out one of the frames even though they had a picture of me in them. The second prescription I could not see out of well. While I was waiting, I observed two other patients that also could not see after putting their new glasses on. Now they want to charge me 50% of the cost even though I have no glasses and no contacts and a prescription I’m not sure is correct.

::So, here's the deal. I've been going to Dr. Pisheh for years now. I never had an issue with her, she's always been very understanding, and recently was helping me with my short term disability paperwork. But now that the staff has changed, I will NOT go back as a patient. The staff is incompetent and rude. When I called to ask for my medical records (for my switch to long term disability), they told me that they had 0 records for me. It wasn't until I called back and said that they were legally required to give me my records that they even bothered to look for them. And when my long term case specialist called to speak to them, the lady on the phone REFUSED to give them her name (which they take so they have a record of who they spoke to). Not only that, whoever my case specialist spoke to hung up on her, TWICE. So unbelievably RUDE and unproffessional!!! I will be finding a new dr to go to, and I suggest that anyone who was happy with Pisheh do the same.

::Staff worked me in as a new patient for an urgent appointment on a Friday afternoon. Dr. Boyd is soothing, friendly and comforting. I had a great experience and will certainly be back.

::I was referred to this place by a family member, but they took too long to call back after I filled out their information online. That normally wouldn't be too big of a deal, just seemed slow to call back almost 48 hrs later... but when they did finally call back, I missed the call because I was working. I called back about 10 minutes later and a lady called Serena (I believe) seemed a bit occupied and annoyed. She sounded bored with her greeting, placed me on hold without an explanation, and/or apology. I didn't really feel like she was interested in my business, so I will take it elsewhere. =] It would have been nice to have met the doctors and the rest of the staff, which I'm sure may have been nice folk, but with a first experience like that? I can't get past poor customer service, sorry.

::Boyd Eye Care has been great for me for years. They treat you like a person and not a number. The doctors are great and friendly. The staff is sweet and patient with my children. And, if you need frames, someone will sit down with you and take the time to help you find the best pair for your face and eyes.
