::Pros: Good service, not busy (unlike Valencia), accepts Apple Pay. Cons: Expensive – charged me for services that I've gotten for free elsewhere, closed on Sunday.

::Box Dog Bikes is a gem in the heart of the city and right off the bike lane on 14th St! They're just a few blocks from the 16th St Bart station and right up the street from Dolores Park. I have been shopping at BDB since way back in 2013. I remember when the dog used to actually ride in the box ;) This shop is truly a gem in this mega corporate bike shop world. They're a worker-owned cooperative and it shows by the work that each and every worker puts out. From Paul to Geoff to Angus to Emily to Sarah and Eric, (sorry I'm missing a few), these cats know bikes! They're selection is up to date with the coolest bikes in the industry and if that doesn't float yer boat take a look at their house designed, made in the USA, Pelican frame! This thing is a front loader (hence the name) and of course it's made of the finest of American steel. If you're looking for more than bikes, take a look at their USA made cycling bag selection; stocked with the coolest and and hottest names in the bike bag market. I've been working with Box Dog Bikes on a B2B level for the past few years and I couldn't be happier with their attention to detail as well as their communication skills from a business standpoint. Cheers to BDB and maybe we will catch ya for one of your overnighter rides soon!

::I went in with a nasty flat that I had problems fixing and they took care of it right away. Fantastic customer service. Nice shop and some great bikes for sale that are very tempting!

::I've stopped in like a lost puppy a couple of times and the guys at the shop are always eager to help me out. The first time I was shopping around for a frame and they helped me pin-point what sort of frame I should shop for based on my needs and budget. They're a great resource for advice as well. On my second visit, they were happy to let me borrow a few tools to fix a minor issue with one of my wheels and made sure I was using them correctly. Definitely a great shop to have down the street from where I live.
