Stopped into Boston Chowda Co. for lunch while on vacation in Boston. I got a large clam chowder and really enjoyed it. The chowder had just the right combination of clams and other ingredients to provide a delicious bite every time. The potatoes are done in a small dice. After eating a lot of different chowders during the week, I had become accustomed to restaurants using the potato as a filler, with large chunks of potato dominating the soup. The other thing that I liked about this chowder is that it was not too thick. After reading more of the reviews, it looks like a made the right choice to get the chowder in a cup and not pay the extra money to get it in a bread bowl. I also had the lemon-aid which was very good and tastes like it was made with real lemons.

Boston chowder has a direct line to fresh seafood in the Boston area. They offer one of the best lobster rolls in Quincy Market. They serve a great white and Manhattan chowder. The red chowder AKA Manhattan chowder is really really good here. The definite stop when in Quincy Market.

Lobster rolls to die for! My first time having lobster rolls and I was not let down. Fresh lobster, the roll was butter dipped so that was tantalizing. The New England clam chowder was fantastic. When I walked into the food hall, I essentially went with the place that had the longest lineup...and I could see why! Go here if you want fresh, local lobster.

Good, quick and clean. The line was moving, the food was grooving. I got the hot lobster roll with butter it was great. I wish I had more from them it all looked good. My wife said the broccoli and cheese soup was good as well. We would eat there again. Good stuff Boston Chowda Co.

We enjoyed a combo lunch here. Lobster roll, new England Clam chowder and a drink for about $24. Good quality and quick service. Just the right size for lunch. The atmosphere is wonderful. For is there was a lovely violin player as we ate our meal.
