  Great bookstore. It's in a good location. They have a nice little coffee shop inside the bookstore. They have lots of events going on when I was there they had an author telling about his book to an audience. They have a kids section as well.

  Book People is a fun place to spend the day. There's so much to look at in here. There's always cool events, so check their online calendar. I love stopping in on book signings, even if I don't know the author. I always walk away entertained. It doesn't matter if we come here on date night or an afternoon with the kids, it's always an adventure. On a side note, they don't let you bring in bags, so be prepared to check yours at the door.

  Wonderful book store. By far the best one I've been to. It has tons of good books, a lot of small semi-private reading spots, and a little coffee bar where you can sit and read the books you just bought. And the staff are all friendly and more than willing to help you find a recommendation.

  I loved book people! It has a huge selection and very knowledgeable staff. The coffee shop has good variety and everything was very well made. I got to meet the author of the book I bought. All in all a great place to check out. I would highly recommend it to any book lover visiting Austin.

  I attended an author signing. They had plenty of room to stand, but not many seats. However, as a bookstore, it really is top-notch. There are 2 floors of books. Plenty of space to wander. Excellent kids area that takes up a third of the second floor. Has a kid size amphitheater, presumably for story time. All book sections are clearly designated. Staff have posted their reviews for some books on note cards on the shelves. The staff is so friendly & helpful, just wonderful. Lastly, there's a small cafe that serves sandwiches, dessert, Italian sodas, among other snacks. Not too pricey. It is a comfortable place to eat lunch & read.
