::I'm here right now for asthma. I've been suffering symptoms for a few days not fully relieved by my rescue inhaler. It's been close to 2 hrs & I still haven't received a treatment. Just taking albuterol puffs every 15-30mins. I have never had such an experience as an asthmatic. I've had nearly fatal exacerbations so every minute can make a difference between life & death. I'm not very familiar w/Rockland County but please find another hospital when in need of urgent care. *Finally got prednisone & treatment done after 2.5 hrs. Nurse kindly gave me Graham crackers & some H2O*

::My mother was there recently for two back to back visits for the same condition. There is a total lack of communication. She was on the phone constantly with the hospital patient advocate. This hospital needs a total overhaul from the parking situation, lack of proper security, antiquated television/phone company, cleanliness to understaffing of nursing assistants. Did you ever hear of a hospital running out of adult diapers? The broken window blinds literally fell on me in an attempt to get some natural light in the room. The hospital is good for treating hangnails. That’s about it... Montefiore needs to sink a boat-load of money into this place. ☹️

::I recently went to this hospital to unfortunately, visit a sick relative that recently had surgery. I was instantly taken aback by the tight parking situation, the guard's attitude providing half directions to our family member's room and the unsanitary conditions. This hospital is in serious need of revamping and it appears retraining is necessary for some of the staff. This is a very depressing looking place. I believe patient morale would help if the environment was improved.

::I am so looking forward to the day when the medical industry will be replaced with robots. At least then we can expect quality standards in care and robots will execute a process according to instructions. Unfortunately the humans treating you at Nyack ER are very confused people. Perhaps they have too many patients due to profit ambitions vs. insurance company allowances - not sure. But to the patient you experience one person not knowing what the other is doing, no callbacks, confusing instructions, wrong diagnoses, etc, etc. Unfortunately we've had to experience ERs in multiple hospitals. As someone who has lived in Rockland over 40 years, I'd recommend you try Good Sam next time.

::My experience with the MS and infusion centers has been fantastic! Staff are knowledgeable and attentive. I email the MS center regularly with some small, sometimes seemingly stupid questions and they always get back to me quickly with answers. The infusion center staff were great, as well! I am so glad I made the switch to this hospital from my old neurologist!
