  I have to go to this hospital because I have no indurance I have been there several times I have a bad kidney stones on both sides and most of the time when I am there I get treated great but tonight was a joke. I have a staghorn stone that needs to be removed and I am scheduled for surgery first on July 12th then I got a call the other day to reschedule my surgery for another week because they only have 1doctor that does this and she is not going to be there on July 12th I also have a bad UTI and I of course cannot afford the medicine so social work agreed to do a voucher when I got discharged out of the hospital on Sunday did not bother to tell where to go they told me it would be faxed there to the pharmacy so as if right now no medicine.. DON'T GO TO THIS HOSPITAL IT IS NOTBWORTH ANYONE'S TIME AND PATIENCE OR ANYONES MONEY THIS PLACE IS A DISGRACE

  The hallways in the surgery waiting area are a bit cramped and can get a bit packed, but that's honestly the only real negative I can think of from my visit. Apart from that, everything else was great. The staff is very nice and we didn't have to wait long to be seen.

  This is my go to hospital. I've had many medical issues that have needed attended. This is a training hospital, so they are always fully staffed even tho it's the busiest ER I've ever been to. A lot of people think that cause it's a state run training hospital the care is sub-par but they have teams of doctors and nurses caring for you. You know they aren't some doc who is tired of his job and thiks he's better than his patients and does a half ass job. They are renovating and building on to their structures and their technology.

  I thanks JPS for taking care of my Dad I just would like him to have his own room sharing with another person in his condition.

  Staff downstairs were great! The further up the floors you went, the worse the attitudes. Waited SEVEN hours and still didn’t get to SPEAK (not even seen) by/to a doctor. I wouldn’t recommend this place to ANYONE. I will never return here. I’d rather walk 100 miles without shoes in the Texas heat to another hospital than ever have to be back here.
