  Gas station is clean and services are OK but mechanic shop is totally different story stay a way or you are going to be scammed not good

  We brought in our car to get the NYS Emissions Inspection. The car was stalling, the tachometer was racing, and the service engine light was on. It was not rolling if it was on a hill. They did some work on the car and charged us $1000. Consequently, when the car was in park on a hill, it rolled and did not stop unless the emergency break was pulled. Thankfully, no one was injured. They stopped it from rolling but they did not fix any of the problems that we originally brought the car in for, and they gave us the inspection sticker.

  They denied me my inspection unless I do $600 worth in unneeded repair, even though my car had been serviced twice over the past weeks by Toyota and by my regular honest mechanic. Went to another mechanic and passed inspection with flying colors. Typical sexist mechanic who tries to rip off 'helpless' female. Women know better and will avoid Bolla Operating Corporation on Nostrand (the Mobil gas station). Instead, go directly to the Toyota dealer.
