  The location is good, very near the subway station. However it's a very noisy place and too hispter for my taste. The rooms are small, but comfortable, although not so clean. A good cheap option to spend a few days in NYC.

  Decent hotel for short stay. The front desk was nice. For me it was a place to crash on a short work trip. Totally fine for that.

  We've stayed here twice and have been very happy. Easy access to parking garage. The rooms have been clean, staff has been friendly, and the continental breakfast is simple but good (waffle maker is awesome). All for a very good price.

  Terrible service and rude desk lady. Told her the shower may not be working, and she says with a condescending/annoyed tone “pull down where the water comes from.” That sounds strange because why the hell would you pull down on the bath faucet? I ask again what she means and she becomes even more belligerent and angrily takes out some diagram out from the desk that shows you have to pull on some ring beneath the faucet. If you happen to have a picture of the bath faucet with the ring circled with a highlighter, obviously the shower design sucks and it’s a reoccurring issue. Desk lady needs to check her attitude and maybe present the diagram first. Oh and not to mention an old dirty ball I found under my mattress on the first night. Makes you doubt their cleanliness. Edit: Changed from 1 to 3 stars because my interactions with all the other staff have been friendly.
