  This is tough for me to write. I’ve loved bodega since they opened. I’m from CA and love tacos. And bodega has never disappointed when it comes to great tacos and food. I regularly frequented they Darien location until the recent cleanliness issues. Their recent health dept inspections have been poor (public info you can find online) and they have ongoing plumbing issues. The past few times there was a terrible sewage smell, flooding in the back of the restaurant and a hose out the back door to drain the water. It’s unfortunate and I’m sad to say I won’t go back given the health and safety issues.

  The server was very friendly and enthusiastic. He was on top of everything. Guacamole was really good. And the food in general was good, fresh and homemade tasting.

  Service was amazing. Food was okay. Restaurant was clean and I will definitely come back.

  Went last year on Cinco de Mayo. Service was good and it has a cool atmosphere. Food was just ok. Had tacos, guac and churros.

  Service was fine but not the friendliest. Food is very oily. Biggest surprise was the “upcharge” for hot sauce... seriously?
