::I normally love blue mercury over sephora. There was a lot of construction going on outside so It was noisy at the dupont circle location. No one asked if i needed help. I heard two workers talking about a friend sleeping with someone. Not the kind of talk i wanted to hear. When i asked about new products, i didnt really get an answer just vague pointing. I was dressed shabbily after working out. I wasnt wearing any makeup. They probably thought i wouldnt buy anything. The sad part is that i love buying makeup and i love to buy new stuff. They missed out on several hundred dollars in sales.

::I visited the DuPont store in DC and Ilene w/ReVive was wonderful! She tactfully told me what my problems were, showed me solutions, tried a few items on me, demonstrated the techniques I would need to use when I got home and even included a few samples!!! I felt really confident in my makeup today and even had 2 people comment on how great I looked. I'm 57 and was definitely feeling a little downtrodden so this was just the pick me up I needed. Somehow she just knew and delivered!!!!!

::Very poor facial from Heather on October 26, 2011. She basically applied the treatments then wiped them off with very little massage and no shoulder, neck massage or anything else. She applied a treatment then twiddled her thumbs until it was time to take it off. She even left the room during the last 10 min of the appointment to put "samples" in little cups for me to take home. For all I know they came from the sample testers on the sales floor. I would've preferred she stay and do a proper facial than make samples. I feel I didn't get a proper service for the fee. All the facials I've had in NJ were wonderful and not like this one at all... Including the ones at Blue Mercury in NJ. So disappointed.
