Nice local neighborhood joint with decent food and friendly staff, you meet a lot of locals, there is a space downstairs that has concerts and events on the weekends

The whole experience of this place is dependent on where you sit and who serves you. If you’re sitting at the bar, the bartender is super attentive and makes great cocktails. If you sit in the garden, the service is generally poor with a rude waitress. As a garden is a huge bonus to any bar, the owner should really pay more attention to this disparity - hence only a two star rating for what has the potential to be a great place.

Really cute, cozy spot for food and drinks - but not the place to go with a big group. I was there for an afternoon birthday, and they accidentally double booked their front area so we had to wait and half stand while hovering over a family (we felt terrible), plus our group had four strollers/babies so it was chaos. There was one server for the entire place, so he was running around like mad. He was very apologetic and tried to get our orders before we sat, but that didn't help as everything came out in random order and he forgot things. It was stressful and the place seemed poorly managed, but I would go back with just one or two people if it didn't seem busy.

It s a nice place to take a brunch. Pancakes were really delicious! Just the server was alone so we had to wait. But we had a great time and the ambiance was cool.

Ehhhh can this place get any more confusing. When you walk into the door there is no one to greet you and just a bunch of tables it's a bit weird. Then you realize there's a bar in the back and actually a full service restaurant but it certainly doesn't feel very comfortable. The food is just greasy spoon at best nothing to phone home about. The bartenders are really chatty with their regulars and certainly give them great service, but if you're new to the place you might be completely glazed over like I have been the 4 times I have tried. Needless to say I will no longer be throwing my money at blubird.
