Beautiful shellac mani and regular pedi- love this place! Owner, Kay, is super friendly and willing to provide excellent service. Everything is sterilized and she has a wealth of colors to choose from! Will definitely go back.

I don’t understand how this place gets such good reviews. I knew as soon as I got inside that it was not a friendly place. The male receptionist did not greet me or make me feel welcomed, knowing it was my first visit. Neither did the male nail tech. He didn’t say hello or speak to me the whole time. I felt very awkward. It was so quiet in there. They could at least play music. Will definitely not be back.

They were nice and the woman who did my nails said she had been doing this for 25 years and promised me she knew what she was doing. I was confident in her and they looked great when I left. A week later my gel no chip manicure is already chipping and on multiple nails. I am pretty upset and don't live in the area so I can't go back. I spent over $45. Not happy.

Great place. Really kind and did a good job keeping everything clean. Went with two guys who had never gotten pedicures before and they made them feel very comfortable.

At first I went across the street to nail saloon. It was 3:45 on a Wednesday. Nail saloon said they couldn't see me until 4:45. So I went across the street to blu nail. You have to dial in to get into the building since it seems like an old apartment building. However they buzz you right up and it's up one flight of stairs (no elevator). The space is cozy and professional. Lots of windows with light as well, which many nail salons do not have. I was lucky they were empty so they saw me immediately. If it was busy I know my experience would've been different. But the women were very courteous and did a great job on my nails. $20 for gel removal and regular manicure (nail saloon would've been $42. You can pay with a card but cash tips only. Even when I banged up one of my nails at the drying station, my manicurist fixed it for me instantly and did not complain. I will definitely be back. The price and service were an excellent combo you can't find at other places in DC.
