  So I have been going to Block Heads now for a few months and even voted for them for the ‘’Westchester s Best’’ Westchester Magazine. In the last two weeks I have been there twice and during those visits the Rap Music has been so loud you can’t hear yourself speak. My daughter who is six started crying last time because it was hurting her ears. The female manager was dismissive and said it’s a problem with their speakers and said she could do nothing. Yesterday I went back with my family and the music was even louder with rap music lyrics so offensive I won’t put the words here. I asked the male greeter if they could put the volume down before we sat down and he said no. So we left. We are not planning on going back, to me it seems that they are changing their marketing strategy to go after another demographic of client which we don’t fit into. I also did notice that they are looking for help in a window posting. I would definitely advise you to think twice about going here, it is no longer Westchesters best. My vote for that goes now to another local chain for that one now.

  Upon walking in, you realize this isnt your traditional burrito joint. (And imo that's a good thing!) The music is bumping top 40 jams and cold frozen beverages take center stage. (Check out the bulldogs which are margaritas topped with a shot and an upside down beer!) the food is excellent, burritos and tacos. The staff was attentive, asking about any food allergies and offering vegan options. A great spot.

  Enjoy coming here for the cheap drinks. But food is pricey. Menu got smaller and they took off the mac and cheese along with the mexican burrito. 😥

  So Blockheads has better drinks than food and it is a super tight atmosphere. Not one of my favorites but the music is always fun, the drinks are super strong, and there is always another option nearby in Downtown White Plains if you want something else.

  The service is amazing and the food is incredible! Blockheads is my go-to spot for delicious comfort vegan food and low priced good drinks.
