  I went up there in mid-January. The beginning of the trail was pretty icy therefore I was very cautious. If you are lucky you might be able to pick up a map for the surrounding mountains at the trailhead. The trail markers can be seen easily. I used the New York-New Jersey Trail conference's West Hudson Trails map. I took a walk on the Golden Ridge and then down to the Sutherland Pond. It was very nice. I enjoyed to hike on the trails a lot.

  This is a beautiful place with lots of nature and hiking trails.
