  Hotel rooms are decent but there are some issues. The hallways are loud and there is a lot of noise from people walking to/from rooms. The breakfast is minimal and there is a large crowd with inadequate service and cleanup. The neighborhood has a few good spots for meals but has not yet turned the corner like nearby areas. The front desk has generally cheery and helpful people.

  I do not recommend staying here. I arrived to find that they had cancelled my reservation without calling or contacting me, then charged me more for a room I did not want, but was all they had left. Turns out they had tried to charge my card before I arrived at the hotel, and it did not go through, which is the reason, they claimed, that they cancelled my room. I explained that I had lost my card the day before and had to cancel it. I did not anticipate this would be a problem, since every other hotel I have been to has waited to charge my card until I arrive, or as I am checking out, so I planned on handing them my new card as soon as I arrived. Not this hotel. Instead, they could not offer me the room I had reserved, charged me more than I had agreed to in my reservation, and was confirmed via emailed confirmation, and when I asked that they honor our original agreement for room reservation price, they flatly declined. I reached out after my stay, and they are refusing to contact me. The practices of this hotel are highly suspect, and I will not be returning.

  My girlfriend and I were staying for Spring Break and kept saying how much we enjoyed BKLYN house. The location is great, being about two minutes from the subway, and a great deli w/beer. The staff was kind, welcoming and helped us find a bunch of cool NY shops and restaurants. The sheets were a little scratchy, but other than that the modern design and gorgeous skyline view (we were. On the top floor) were amazing and beautiful.

  Rooms were clean. Nice decor. Shower kept overflowing into bathroom floor near toilet due to no door or anything to stop it from flowing out onto it. Mattresses we're not soft.

  I recently booked a room here and I loved every bit of it. The room was a nice size for my boyfriend and I. Bathroom was nice and modern. Rooms was clean upon. The hotel overall was great. SB: this hotel is in a urban area but it doesn’t take away from the hotel. And if your food lover like me there is plenty of choices
