  The perfect antidote to the social justice busybodies of Starbucks. College students and laptops are the order of the day here since Pratt is across the street. VERY Indie-oriented music, mostly lo-fi selections: ("Tennis" anyone? Or Ariel Pink?). Today they're playing Talking Heads. The staff are low key, friendly and efficient. After all, they are there to make coffee. Because they work in a cafe'. Where people go to buy drinks featuring coffee. Speaking of which, the only coffee I've ordered is Americano, which is always excellent. I hear the chai tea is good, and a friend raved about the iced mocha! So burn your Starbucks card, delete the app, and try BKG for a change.

  Very friendly staff! They lovingly pour over drip coffee and will answer all questions! The original walls and ceiling are worth admiring. Very charming!

  I love grabbing coffee and doing work here! Enough seating and outlets, and the WiFi is pretty good. Plus the baristas are so nice!

  You’ll find good coffee, delicious pastries, cozy environment plus friendly and professional baristas there. I enjoy everything there every time I go, which is very often :)

  Charming coffee shop with a fabulous cappuccino. Quaint and comfortable with tasty pastries to match. Great place to meet friends w large communal tables in the back also a good working spot for an afternoon.
