::I am not a big fish eater but I am now. Recently, after making a commitment to eat more fish for health reasons, I decided that my husband and I should try this restaurant - on a whim. OMG! The food was amazing!!! From the appetizers to the main course, everything was delicious. I am so happy we tried this place as we will definitely be going back.

::Bistro 146 - the Seafood Grille is a really pleasant surprise. It's a small place, but very comfortable and good for friends, family or a romantic dinner for two. The Chef/Owner Marcelo is a very friendly man, and a very talented chef! I was so impressed with my seafood appetizer I forgot to take a picture, and I'm kicking myself over it. It was a scallop, shrimp and lobster app. It came gorgeously plated on a rectangular plate. First were two perfectly cooked blackened scallop over a corn hash. The scallops were sweet, and the blackened spices had a kick to them. Next to that was an absolutely perfectly grilled jumbo shrimp on top of an avocado tomato hash. I'm still thinking about the flavor of that shrimp! And lastly, a perfectly succulent piece of lobster over a melted brie tart with a sauce that was just luxurious. I think this was the best appetizer I've ever had! My dining companions had the lobster bisque, which, according to them, they wanted to lick the bowl clean. For the main course (we were having lunch) I had filet mignon with grilled onions over Texas Toast topped with Gorgonzola cheese, and salad. The meat just melted in my mouth. The toast was perfect - still crispy even with the meat on it, and it had the perfect amount of cheese. My companion had the same thing, and the third person in our party had a salad of baby spinach, strawberries, mangos, seasoned nuts and goat cheese. Wow, was that good! The fruit tasted like it had just been picked, the baby spinach was perfectly fresh, and the goat cheese! Yum! We ordered a piece of key lime pie and three spoons - Graham cracker crumb crust, tart/sweet filling, toasted meringue on top - delicious. Then Marcelo brought out a chocolate chunk cookie cooked in a personal cast iron skillet, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top, and a strawberry cut like a rose with a candle in it, on the side, gratis, for my companion for her 82nd birthday. That cookie was absolutely decadent. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes delicious food plated beautifully!

::Very nice staff and food is good. However, even though I had a reservation was told...its a Saturday night and were busy so you'll have to wait. Once seated..took an hour before we had anything to eat...disappointing

::Free parking on street and a lot behind the restaurant. Food is absolutely great. It is expensive but is really worth it. Example is a salad with 7 scallops for the main course, it is $34 but it is large. Crab cakes (2) for an appetizer is $12 which is reasonable. The paella for main is $27. Most main courses are in the $30 range. Sometimes I have the crab cakes for a main course. They are large and have very little filler. Without drinks the usual bill we have is about $70 for two.
