::I stopped by 2 weeks ago & got a good haircut that makes me feel better. Sometimes a good haircut is like a warm bowl of your fav soup on a cold day, it relaxes you. The free beer is a nice bonus as well. I received a free haircut email from Bishop's, so I gave a generous tip & bought some Joes dandruff shampoo. It lathers up really well & has helped my hair be less dry; mainly because I like wearing hats or beanies to keep my head warm...

::Previously four stars. This time, after waiting 30 minutes (was told 10), I left. During that time I went online and saw three open schedules. Most of the staff were in the back and it sounded like a small party. All that is cool. Everyone needs a break but hey, really? I'm a quick cut (there's not much there) and tip heavily. Walked a block down to Rough Cut (I know, what a name) and got a good cut for less. I think I found my new place.

::Jamie is probably not a bad hairstylist in general, but she cut my boyfriend's hair way too short. Shorter than the photo we showed her and told her was too short from last time. She also does not know how to cut curly/textured hair. I'm sure if my boyfriend had white people hair, it would've been fine. But he has thick, curly, Hispanic hair and it cannot be cut like his hair is fine and straight. If she were cutting my hair I'd probably be please but we left a quite upset with how his hair was cut. It was cut the way his mom does his hair and if he'd wanted that done that way he would've gone to her to do it for free which defeats the purpose of why he goes to Bishops. They have great stylists and in general do hair well, but to be honest it is not the best place to go if you have textured hair.
