  This place had the best fried chicken we had in Miami. The chicken was flavorful and not to greassy, while the batter was crispy but chicken inside was juicy and perfectly cooked. The burger was excellent. Outside seating is the way to go in the evening. Good service and bar made it a 5 star. Not too expensive.

  The Bird & Bone is found inside the Confidante Hotel, and I came here on 2 different days while I was vacationing in Miami. The first day (Friday) I was here for lunch, and I ordered the fish tacos. They were delicious and came with a slightly sweet mango salsa, which is my absolutely favorite. The second day (Sunday), I was here for brunch and ordered the fried chicken and waffles. The chicken was juicy and seasoned well, and the waffles were also incredible. My friend and I also ordered shakes, but I didn't take any pictures of them since A) they didn't look very appetizing and B) they didn't taste any better than they looked. The food was great though, especially the brunch!

  Food was good but this place is so poorly managed it is just totally unacceptable! The four of us arrived around 7pm for a table outside and were told it will take 25 min. Got a drink at the bar and, after 40 min, we asked for an update. We were told to wait for 20 more min. Ok. So we waited 30 min and had to ask for another update but then it was 30 more min before we can get a table!! With two kids of 8 and 12, we gave up and took a table inside. I asked for the manager, he explained it is difficult to manage when people stay at their table and when I pointed there was table available outside, he mentioned he had reservations. Then we waited at our table for another 20 min without seeing any waiters. I had to go in front of the kitchen door and block them to get attention and order our food finally - that arrived around 9:20pm (and they forgot my beer but was in house ultimately, one nice gesture in a bad experience overall). To close on the poor management of the place, the table outside remained unused during our stay, nobody was removing dishes from tables after customers left so table around you are a mess, there was many items not available for order that night... all of that is also part of a making a restaurant successful. It is so unfortunate because the food we ordered was really good!! Chicken and waffle is recommended no doubts. So kudos to the team in the kitchen, and everything else must improve based on our experience.

  My girlfriend and I were on vacation and heard recommendations that this place was great for dinner. Luckily it was a quiet Wednesday evening and we had no problem getting a table. We were asked if we’d like to be seated inside or out, you can’t go wrong with either because the restaurant is very pretty and the patio was very airy, yet sheltered from the elements and very cute. Our waiter was great, and actually gave us a complimentary cocktail to start because he has mistakenly made it for another table, and this was a very friendly gesture in my mind. For appetizers, we had the cheddar biscuits and Brussels sprouts, which were both amazing. For dinner I had the seared snapper and my girlfriend had the burger. Both were cooked to perfection and delicious, and. Either of us were able to finish. Overall I would absolutely return when I am in Miami Beach next, and sincerely wish we had the appetite left for dessert!

  Went two times and enjoyed the food and the service as well. Truth is ,I enjoy the chef and liked supporting the location. We went a 3rd time, through a Travelzoo voucher.That experience really marred our opinion on the restaurant as we were treated fairly poorly,(basically ignored) presumably because a 20% tip is baked into the voucher and perhaps the thought is " I don't need to try" . Regardless, it was shocking at how crappy the service was. To be honest, the food was still good(maybe better??) , so I can't take that from them. So, if you haven't gone-go. Be careful with the vouchers....
