  Today begins an adventure in boutique bakery eating. As I pulled into the parking lot a wave of intimidation swept over me. The Up-market stores and salons made my wallet start to quiver until, like a breeze from a meadow, a store front came into focus. Stepping inside BIRD Bakery and immediately being greeted by no less than three gracious combinations of "Hello" and "Welcome" calmed my anxiousness. Clear, legible, and artistic signage took away any confusion. Ordering the Tuna Melt and Egg Salad sandwiches to go could not have been easier. I was a little saddened that I missed the quiche (going back early tomorrow for that taste treat). The "WC" is a nice whimsical touch that brought a smile. The cost of the two sandwiches and the bags of chips took me by surprise admittedly. I fully expected to pay a higher price and was pleasantly surprised. I was even more pleased after experiencing the flavor and quality of these sandwiches. Excited about tasting even more of the menu.

  Pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, good selections of sweets and drinks. Reasonable space to sit down and work while getting quick bite. The rest, you need to go and check it out for yourself :)

  Cupcakes were delicious. However, make sure to ask for NO mustard on your sandwich. Whatever mustard they use tastes terrible and will ruin your sandwich.

  Snowbirds are really good. Ran out of ice cream before but one of the ladies ran over to get more. Excellent customer service!!

  PEANUT BUTTER BARS! Their cupcakes are delicious and can be wonderfully packaged as gifts also! Such a pretty bakery and cafe! I love coming here on afternoons for a pick me up or a tête-à-tête! Wish their coffee drinks to have stronger coffee taste; cute cups though!
