  Fantastic wine bar with a great selection of mostly foreign wines. Everything from white and red to bubbly and dessert. Also the snacks are phenomenal and the atmosphere is stellar. Definitely a go to place to hang out and relax with a friend.

  Nice bar at Hayes area but often too crowded. Avoid (try to...) 6:30-8:30 pm. Wine selection is mainly oriented to good Italian labels, most available also by glass.

  Little wine bar with great selection. It's refreshing to scan a menu and know that anything you pick will be good. Then it's just about what style of wine you're feeling into!

  Endearing neighborhood spot, just a block away from the busy streets. Unique mini-sommelier experience with knowledgeable experts to help suggest choices based on your likes. Space is small and cozy, bathrooms are clean (Aesop soap!), and the SF city vibes are alive and classy at Birba. We enjoyed the indulgently rich foie gras toast with pear and anchovies.
